Frequently Asked Questions

When does my rental start and end?

Your rental will start after we drop off. It will end according to your rental agreement. This will be coordinated when we talk.

Is a special electrical outlet required?

Negative! A traditional 120V/15A grounded outlet is all we need. We would like to see an outlet within 10 feet but we can accommodate longer. Just ask!

Do you use Inflatable Hot Tubs?

We do not use inflatable hot tubs. Our tubs are solid with a soft subtle interior that doesn’t give you the stiff feel of a regular hot tub.

When you show up for delivery, how long till I can use my tub?

Each location varies. Typically, we do allow for up to an additional hour to make sure we get your tub setup where you want it! At that point it takes 24-48hrs to reach max temp.

What areas do you deliver to?

We serve all of the Capital Region and surrounding area. If you’re not within our service area, give us a call, we still may deliver to your area if its a long term rental.

We bring the water pretreated for your enjoyment, so you don’t have to worry!

Will I notice a large difference in my electricity bill?

Not to worry, even with energy bills going up our tubs use minimal electricity to maintain and heat the water. Per manufacture the motor uses about 4kWh of electricity per day. Clients from all over have not reported an appreciable difference!

Where can I put the spa?

Our spas can weigh up to 3000lbs. We have placed them on decks, patios, grassy backyard spaces and in a garage! A clear level area is best. If we can get the water there and an electrical outlet is available, we can do it!

How do you dispose of the water when the rental is over?

When your rental is over we pump the water out of the tub to a local drain or an area on/near your property.

Is there anything I have to do to the water during my rental period?

No, we provided treated water and the water stays treated when not in use through a buoyant sanitation device that should remain in the tub when it is not being used.

Can I add anything to the water? (Fragrances, Salts, Etc.)

Pretty please NO! We are a small family business, and anything not supplied by New Hampshire Hot Tubs could be harmful to our tubs.

How do you keep the tubs clean?

We use very minimal chemicals with our sanitation system compared to a traditional spa. This results in a lower chemical smell but with the same sanitation.

How hot does the water get?

Maximum water temperature is 104℉.

What is the recommended time to be in the spa?

The lessee will sign the waiver and be responsible for our equipment during the rental period; releasing New Hampshire Hot Tub Rentals, LLC from any liability should an injury occur to any guest or themselves during the rental timeframe.

What happens if I damage the spa?

Can my kids use the spa?

That is up to you! We recommend only allowing kiddos when you can watch them and that you bring the temperature to a safe level. Health officials recommend 98 degrees.

Can I have friends or guests over to enjoy the hot tub?

Please do and take lots of pictures! When you are all having fun, please remember that per the liability waiver, you are responsible for the equipment and guests during your rental period. Enjoy!

What if I want to extend my reservation?

This is always a great compliment and we will do whatever we can to see this happen if you want, pending we have availability.
